Azerbaijan resumes organic fertilizer imports from four countries 

Azerbaijan imported 1,147 tons of organic fertilizer worth $1.83 million in 2022, down 0.7% and up 25%, respectively, from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

Below is the list of countries that exported organic fertilizer to Azerbaijan in the reporting period:

• Türkiye – 916 tons (-7%) worth $1.1 million (-7.1%);
• Italy – 42 tons (+50%) worth $346,000 (+39.5%);
• Lithuania – 38 tons (+86.3%) worth $113,300 (+2.1 times);
• Spain – 41.9 tons (+2.1 times) worth $98,100 (+3.1 times);
• The Netherlands - 0.31 tons (-92%) worth $30,000 (+fivefold);

Azerbaijan resumed importing organic fertilizer from four countries:

• Germany – 0.11 tons worth $730;
• USA – 1.1 tons worth $16,800;
• South African Republic – 4.5 tons worth $23,400;
• Canada – 1.2 tons worth $20,000.

In the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 4,812 tons of organic fertilizer worth $915,300 to only Georgia.
