Azerbaijan resumes linseed imports from India

In the first nine months of 2022, Azerbaijan imported 23.41 tons of linseed for $26,260 – 9.3 times and two times more year-on-year, respectively, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistics Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 21 tons (+53 times) of linseed from Kazakhstan for 21,000 (16.3 times more than a year ago), 1.44 tons from Ukraine for $2,020 (there was no supply a year ago), 0.28 tons (-24.3%) from Germany for $1,100 (-40%), 0.3 tons from India for $990, and 0.3 tons (-73.7%) from Turkiye for $830 (-79.8%).
The linseed imports from India were resumed after a gap of one year and six months.
