Azerbaijan, Latvia sign memorandum on cooperation

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Research Institute of Vegetable Growing under the Ministry of Agriculture and the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies.
Report informs referring to the ministry that the document was signed within the framework of a meeting with the delegation led by the Latvian Minister of Agriculture Kaspars Gerhards, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.
Opportunities for cooperation in agriculture were widely discussed at the meeting. It was reported that Azerbaijan and Latvia can expand cooperation in the areas such as the transfer of modern technologies in agriculture, conducting scientific researches, training specialists in agriculture and export of agricultural products.
