Azerbaijan increases spending on sheep imports from Georgia by 65%

In January-September 2023, Georgia exported sheep worth $14 million to Azerbaijan.
According to Report's calculations based on data from the National Statistical Office of Georgia, this is 65% more than the same period in 2022.
Azerbaijan ranks first among the countries (8) to which Georgia exports sheep.
During the reporting period, Georgia exported sheep worth $32 million to foreign countries, which is 88% more than a year ago.
Georgia's sheep exports made $8.9 million to Saudi Arabia, $5 million to Iraq, $2.9 million to Kuwait and $704,000 to Qatar.
