Azerbaijan increases cost of importing fertilizers by 32%

In January-March 2023, Azerbaijan imported fertilizers worth $14.823 million, up 31.5 times from the same period last year.
Report informs citing the State Customs Committee that the value of exports of fertilizers from Azerbaijan for the reporting period amounted to $27.637 million, which is 48.3% more than a year ago.
In the first three months of this year, the import costs of fertilizer made up 0.37% of the total import costs of Azerbaijan, and the export revenues constituted 0.36% of the total export revenues.
