Azerbaijan eyes building logistics hub for transshipment of food products from Russia

The Dagestan Uniservice LLC (Russia) plans to build a logistics hub in Azerbaijan for transshipment of food products from Russia, Arslan-Ali Gamzatov, director-general of Uniservice LLC, told Report.

“This issue is now at the level of negotiations,” Gamzatov said.

“Considering how history connects Dagestan and Azerbaijan, as well as the presence of a large number of Dagestanis in Azerbaijan and vice versa, we are overwhelmed with many positive expectations regarding upcoming projects,” the director-general added.

For many years, the company has been cooperating with Azerbaijan, in particular, in the field of trade, export of food products, various equipment, etc.
