Azerbaijan doubles revenues from cotton exports

Azerbaijan imported 1.976 million worth of cotton in January-May 2021, $448,000 or 18.5% less than a year earlier, Report informs, citing State Customs Committee.

In the reporting period, the export of cotton amounted to $129.1 million, which is $68.4 million or 2.1-fold more than the previous year.

The import of cotton was 0.04% of total imports, while the cotton export accounted for 1.74% of total exports.
