55 people employed at livestock complex in Khojaly’s Khanabad village

Some 55 people have been provided with permanent jobs at the livestock complex located in the territory of Khanabad village of Azerbaijan’s Khojaly district, Report informs.

A large livestock complex has started operating in Khanabad village of Khojaly district.

The livestock complex of Goch Et Rural Farm LLC keeps large horned animals for meat and dairy production.

The total capacity of the breeding farm is 750 heads of large horned animals. Currently, the farm has 355 heads of three different breeds of large horned breeding animals. The complex has an annual production capacity of 100 tons of meat and 2,000 tons of milk. Equipment produced in Türkiye and Germany is used in the production of livestock products.

In the future, milk production is planned to reach 3,000 tons annually. As a result of the enterprise's activities in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, 55 people have been provided with permanent jobs. With the increase in production capacity in the future, the number of jobs is expected to reach 100.

The complex, with a project value of 4.2 million manats ($2.47 million), covers an area of 7.6 hectares. Winter barley and wheat have been planted on 500 hectares of land to meet the feed requirements.
