Fuad Naghiyev: More than 1,500 graduates received tourism education in Azerbaijan

In the academic year 2022-2023, the number of graduates of higher and secondary educational institutions of Azerbaijan who received education in the specialty of tourism amounted to 1,548 people, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency Fuad Naghiyev said at the "First meeting of educational institutions specializing in tourism of the BSEC member countries" in Baku, organized by the State Agency and the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.

Report quotes him as saying the university created in Karabakh by order of President Ilham Aliyev will also train specialists in the field of tourism.

The State Agency chairman also noted that the main goal of education in the field of tourism is to provide personnel with the necessary knowledge and skills for all types of tourism.
