Representatives of opposition movement and Armenia's ruling party hold negotiations

At the initiative of representatives of the Civil Accord party in Armenia, certain contacts took place with members of the opposition movement "Tavush for the Name of the Motherland", one of the leaders of the movement, political scientist Suren Petrosyan, told journalists.

Report informs via Sputnik Armenia that he said the initiative is aimed at breaking down barriers between the parties.

"Our goal is not confrontation, but reconciliation. We strive to destroy the barricades, and not stand on opposite sides of them," he noted.
