Russia adds 235 Australians into its black list

Russia is denying entry to 235 Australian citizens from among the MPs of municipal assemblies who are forming an anti-Russian agenda in the country, the Russian Foreign Ministry said, Report informs via TASS.

“In response to politically motivated sanctions against Russian individuals and legal entities by the Australian government, introduced as part of the Russophobic campaign of the collective West, entry into our country for an indefinite term is closed to an additional 235 Australians from among the deputies of municipal assemblies who are forming an anti-Russian agenda in this country," the ministry noted.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Moscow will continue to work on updating the Australian stop list, taking into account Canberra’s “anti-Russian policy.”

“Taking into account the fact that official Canberra does not intend to abandon its anti-Russian course and continues to introduce new sanctions, work on updating the Russian stop list will continue,” the ministry said.
