Poland develops bill on abolition of Central Anti-Corruption Bureau

Poland has developed a bill to liquidate the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CAB) intelligence service, Report informs via TVN24.

"The bill is ready. Today we are starting the whole procedure," the country's Security Services Coordinator Tomasz Siemoniak said, clarifying that the document will be sent to various government organizations for approval.

"I expect that the bill will be adopted before the Seimas' summer holidays," Siemoniak added.

On January 29, when the document was just beginning to be developed, Siemoniak stated that the Central AB "has good workers, but it cannot be that one service in Poland is associated only with problems, scams, adventures and strange actions."

The decision to liquidate the Central AB of the united opposition party, which won the parliamentary elections on October 15, was made on November 10.
