Early voting in the second round of presidential elections has begun in Finland, Report informs.

Early voting begins on January 31 and will last until February 6 in Finland and until February 3 abroad.

Preliminary results of early voting will become known after the polls close on the main election day, which is scheduled for February 11.

Ex-Prime Minister Alexander Stubb and former Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto advanced to the second round. Some 27.2% of voters cast their votes for Stubb, 25.8% for Haavisto, according to preliminary data from the Ministry of Justice after 100% of the votes were counted.
