Olympic champion Farid Mansurov gets high post in Ministry of Youth and Sports

Baku. 6 September. REPORT.AZ/ New head of Sports Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports was appointed.

Report informs referring to the spokeswoman for the ministry, Samaya Mammadova, the department will be headed by Olympic champion in Greco-Roman wrestling Farid Mansurov.

Earlier, late Mirkamil Rahimov has worked at this position.

Notably, F. Mansurov was born May 10, 1982 in Dmanisi, Georgia. He is an Azerbaijani wrestler who won a gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Greco-Roman wrestling.
