1 690 foreigners have to leave Azerbaijan within 48 hours

REPORT.AZ/ In January, 2015, 2239 cases of violation of the requirements of foreign administrative law set related to the rules of residence, temporary or permanent residence in the territory of Azerbaijan. 12 people of them received new documents, allowed temporarily or permanently reside in the territory of Azerbaijan instead of lost documents, 246 persons charged fine and legalized their stay in the country, 1,690 foreigners ordered to leave the country within 48 hours, in respect of 291 people made a decision to expel them from the country by administrative order. Report was told by the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan.

Generally, during the month the State Migration Service received 6695 applications from foreigners and persons without citizenship associated with the extension of their stay in the country, the issuance of a permit for temporary or permanent residence, receipt, failure, restoration of citizenship, determination of citizenship and refugee status, issuance of permits for employment and extension of existing permits. Each application was investigated separately in accordance with the laws of the country and make appropriate decisions.

Also registered 55,543 complaints from foreigners due to their residence registration.

In addition, the staff of relevant departments of the service carried out checks on the 20 sites of business, in which cases were set to bring to paid employment of foreigners or stateless persons in violation of the laws of the country. As a result of the actions taken at 19 sites entrepreneurship established violations of the rules of engagement for employment of foreigners or stateless persons.
