Grants were allocated to the teams participating in the Startup Forum-2024 on entrepreneurship among children and teenagers aged 6-17, organized by MiniBoss Business School Baku and supported by Kapital Bank, Report informs.

The projects submitted by 17 teams were evaluated by the jury and grants were allocated to each project.

The jury members evaluating the projects were Rufat Atakishiyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy, Nargiz Hajiyeva, Director of British Council Azerbaijan, Basti Agharzayeva, Head of the Baku International Study Centre (NCUK), Nigar Aliyeva, Chief Executive Officer of PASHA Construction LLC, Kapitalbank Board Member Kamal Abdullayev, British Chamber of Commerce Azerbaijan Branch Manager John Patterson, SOCAR Kapital CEO Samir Karimli, and World Bank Country Manager for Azerbaijan Stephanie Stallmeister.

Director of MiniBoss Business School Baku, Alina Khalafova, announced the grants allocated to the teams. So, although the team presenting the Sketchio project requested 1,800 manats ($1,058) for the startup, the jury allocated a grant of 1,450 manats ($852.93) to the project. Also, a grant of 990 manats ($582.35) was allocated for the Lumeni project (requested money - 1300 manats ($764.7)), 1,275 manats ($749.99) for the Explore Azerbaijan project (requested money – 1,500 manats ($882.35)), 850 manats ($499.99) for the Dill Buzz project (requested money – 1,200 manats ($705.88)), 940 manats ($552.93) for the Cashy project (requested money – 1,100 manats ($647.05)), 630 manats ($370.58) for the Special Me project (requested money - 640 manats ($376.46)), 815 manats ($479.41) for the Flash Skateboard project (requested money – 1,000 manats ($588.23)).

In addition, 1,265 manats ($744.11) were allocated for the Khari Touch project (requested money - 1,500 manats ($882.35)), 1,440 manats ($847.05) for the Imagicubes project (requested money - 2,000 manats ($1,176)), 1,240 manats ($729.4) for the Chaykhor project (requested money - 1,300 manats ($764.7)), and 1,065 manats ($626.46) for the Connect & Care project (requested money - 1,200 manats ($705.88)), 625 manats ($367.64) for the Memory book project (requested money - 800 manats ($470.58)), 850 manats ($499.99) for the LinguaPlay project (requested money – 1,200 manats ($705.88)), 1,180 manats ($694.11) for the Cultstick project (requested money – 1,700 manats ($999.9)), 2,050 manats ($1,205) for the Az-Bathty project (requested money – 2,500 manats ($1,470)), 1,100 manats ($647.05) for the Ecoleaf project (requested money – 1,200 manats ($705.88)), 2,015 manats ($1,185) for the Meyvali project (requested money – 2,100 manats ($1,235)).

Entrepreneurs who participated in the event as guests also supported the projects. Thus, one of the entrepreneurs granted 1,200 manats ($705.88) in addition to the grant allocated to the Cashy project. Global Food Company supported the LinguaPlay project with 1,200 manats ($705.88), Elux company supported the Az-Bathty project with an additional 1,000 manats ($588.23), and Iteca Caspian participated as the first customer in the Ecoleaf project and ordered 500 notebooks.

Dayaq Group LLC supported all teams in the amount of 1000 manats ($588.23).
