Working group established to implement ASAN service model in Ethiopia

The delegation headed by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ulvi Mehdiyev has visited the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Report informs.

The visit took place at the invitation of the deputy prime minister of this country.

During the visit, meetings were held with Ethiopian Minister of Innovation and Technology Belete Molla, Head of the Civil Service Commission Mekuria Haile, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mesganu Arga, President of Oromia State Shimelis Abdissa and Mayor of Addis Ababa Adanech Abebe.

As part of the meetings, extensive presentations were held on the concept of ASAN service, the provision of public services by the Agency, the introduction of social innovations and support for startups.

At a meeting with the minister of innovation and technology, the Ethiopian side took the initiative of joint cooperation in the implementation of modern digital solutions used by the State Agency in the field of public services, in connection with which a working group was created.

Azerbaijan’s Charge d’Affaires in Ethiopia Ruslan Nasibov also took part in the meetings.
