Moscow hails upcoming meeting of Azerbaijani, Armenian foreign ministers

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs hailed the upcoming meeting between the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan, the Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said answering a question from BakuTv, Report informs.

The meeting is scheduled to be held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on May 10.

“We welcome this meeting, which will take place on May 10. Russia is ready to continue to assist in the process of Azerbaijani-Armenian normalization. Let me remind you that negotiations between the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan were held in Moscow on April 22, and today there will be a meeting between the Russian leader and the Prime Minister of Armenia. Issues of ensuring peace, stability and security in the South Caucasus are on the agenda of these talks,” Zakharova said.
