The panel session themed “The importance of cultural and creative industries in ensuring modern development trends and economic diversification” was held on the sidelines of the 6th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku Thursday, Report informs.
The president of the Stirling Foundation, as well as representatives from UNESCO, the British Council, Finland, and Türkiye, took part in the event.
They talked about culture, communication, creative arts, and the contributions that can be made to intercultural dialogue through art.
It was noted that Baku is one of the leading and active cities in the mentioned issues. Also, the importance of Azerbaijan hosting such events to contribute to the promotion of sustainable peace and the fight against national discrimination was emphasized.
