President Ilham Aliyev presented 'Friendship' order to UN High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations

Baku. 22 April.REPORT.AZ/ On April 22, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has received the UN High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser.

Report informs, the head of state said that the UN High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser is a close friend of Azerbaijan as well asplayed an important role in expanding the UN-Azerbaijan partnership.

President Ilham Aliyev has stated that Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser awarded 'Friendship' order, one of the high state prizes, for his contribution to the development of the UN-Azerbaijani mutual relations and intercultural dialogue, then presented the order to him.

During the meeting, talks have been held about the importance of the UN Alliance of Civilizations 7th Global Forum, to be held in Baku as well as about the role of the event in expanding international cooperation specially stressed.
