Obama didn't use the word "genocide" in his statement on events in 1915

The US president said, he has not changed his position on the events that took place in the Ottoman Empire

Baku. 24 April. REPORT.AZ/ US President Barack Obama did not use the word "genocide" during his speech on the 100th anniversary of the events of 1915 in the Ottoman Empire.

Report informs referring to "Associated Press", the US President said in his speech that "the anniversary of the mass murder of the Armenian population in 1915 is the challenge to preserve the history and reckon with past."

Obama also noted that he talked about this several times and didn't change his position on the events of 1915.
