Baku. 14 October. REPORT.AZ/ The national flag flown at half-mast in Honorary Royal Thai Consulate in Azerbaijan in connection with the death of the King of Thailand Bhumibol Adulyadej. 

Report informs referrring to the honorary consulate in Baku.

It was also noted, diplomatic mission awaits instructions on opening the book of condolences.

Thailand’s king has died yesterday aged 89 from long-term illness. Bhumibol Adulyadej (also known as Rama IX) has reigned since June 9, 1946. His son Vajiralongkorn is the heir to the throne.
