Conference on fight against colonialism takes place in Vienna

On April 30, the UN office in Vienna is hosting a conference on “Eradicating colonialism: the consequences of assimilation and its impact on human rights,” Report informs via AZERTAC.

This is a continuation of a series of events organized by the Baku Initiative Group (BIG) dedicated to the fight against colonialism and its new manifestations. Similar conferences were already held last year on September 22 at the UN headquarters in New York and on December 14 in Geneva.

The event will discuss issues related to eliminating inequality and sustainable development issues within and between states.
