Azerbaijani FM briefs Russian President’s Special Representative about normalization process with Armenia

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with the Special Representative of the Russian President on International Cultural Cooperation, Mikhail Shvydkoy, who is on a visit to Baku to attend the 6th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).

The meeting discussed bilateral and multilateral cooperation issues between Azerbaijan and Russia, preparations for COP29, as well as the current regional situation.

Informing the other side about the current regional situation in the post-conflict period, including the process of normalization between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Bayramov pointed out that the latest agreement reached between the delimitation commissions is very positive progress within the framework of the peace agenda. He added that Baku is determined to achieve real results in all elements of the normalization process.

The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
