Ambassador: Pakistan supports and will continue to support Azerbaijan in the Karabakh issue

Baku. 5 February. REPORT.AZ / "Every year we celebrate February 5 as a day of solidarity in support of those fighting for their rights in Kashmir."

Report informs, Ambassador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan Khalid Usman Qaiser said on the occasion of the Day of Solidarity with Kashmir.

Ambassador said that, India's aggression in Kashmir killed 94, 233 people, 106,040 homes were destroyed and all these figures are just approximate: "Pakistan believes that attempts to use force, changing demographic situation and an attempt to integrate Kashmir with India will not stop the fair struggle of the Kashmiri people ".

According to him, the problem of Kashmir is a security challenge not only for the region of South Asia, but also for the whole world.

The Ambassador also pointed out similarities of Kashmir's issue and Nagorno Karabakh conflict: "There are UN resolutions that are not met, international law is violated, locals have been resettled, as well as their rights are violated, etc. Azerbaijan supports Pakistan in Kashmir and Pakistan in turn supports Azerbaijan in the Karabakh issue.
