Turnover of new generation cash registers in Azerbaijan soars by 38%

To date, 58,095 new generation cash registers have been installed in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.

According to the official data, in January-March 2022, the turnover through the new generation cash registers amounted to more than 4.3 billion manats, 38.1% more than in the same period last year.

Equipping taxpayers with new cash registers is carried out in stages since the 2nd quarter of 2019. The State Tax Service of Azerbaijan plans to complete the fourth stage of equipping trade and service facilities with new generation cash registers by December 31, 2022. At the current stage, it is planned to introduce a new generation of cash registers in retail and catering facilities in Baku, Ganja and Sumgayit by April 1, 2022, and throughout the country by the end of this year.
