Budget subsidy for Baku Metro CJSC soars by 50%

Baku. 26 December. REPORT.AZ/ 45.0 mln AZN subsidy will be allocated to the Baku Metro CJSC from Azerbaijan's state budget for 2018.

Report informs citing the decree of the President of Azerbaijan on a number of issues related to the application of the law "On the 2018 State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan".

Notably, initially, amount of the subsidy was mentioned 89 mln AZN in the draft budget discussed in the parliament.

The subsidy granted to the Baku Metro CJSC in the state budget for 2017 made 30.0 mln AZN, which show 50% increase in 2018.

In addition, state budget for 2018 envisages 10.0 mln AZN subsidy to the "Azerbaijan Airlines" CJSC. 

Also 48.1 mln AZN is planned to be allocated to the Baku Transport Agency (BTA) and 4.472 mln AZN to the State Maritime Administration.
