Halliburton organized a seminar at Baku Higher Oil School

Baku. 12 February. REPORT.AZ/ Halliburton organized a seminar at Baku Higher Oil School Halliburton experts held Completion Tools Seminar for SOCAR engineers at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), Report informs. 

Mr.ElmarGasimov, Rector of BHOS, welcomed the participants and speakers of the seminar on behalf of BHOS faculty and staff, and briefed on the history, mission and vision of the higher school. He underlined that the Cooperation Agreement was signed between BHOS and Halliburton in 2014, and that this partnership, as well as collaboration with the other international oil and gas companies would make a significant contribution to training of highly qualified specialists. 

Engineers from SOCAR –AQS LLC, Azneft Production Unit, Complex Drilling Trust, SOCAR ÜMİD LLC and other SOCAR departments and structures took part in the seminar. The seminar targeted at building up close collaboration among Halliburton and SOCAR experts,as well as sharing best practices on Halliburton advanced and high- quality PSL in drilling and completion. 

The two day seminar covered various topics such as Importance of HSE, Overview of Halliburton PSL and Capabilities within the Caspian Region, Various Completion Designs Used around the Globe, Sand Control Solutions and Screens, etc. 

The seminar was concluded with Wrap-up and Q&A session.
