Azerbaijan repatriates 469 women, children from Iraq and Syria

In 2023, Azerbaijan repatriated 60 citizens from Syria, including 13 women and 47 children, the Office of the Human Rights (Ombudsman) Commissioner of Azerbaijan said, Report informs.

The office noted that as a result of measures taken by the Azerbaijani government, a total of 469 children and women have been repatriated from Iraq and Syria.
