Azerbaijan reduced export of beverages by 39%

Baku. 20 July. REPORT.AZ/ In January-June of this year in exports of alcoholic beverages was observed a negative dynamics in Azerbaijan. Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee, in January-June of 2015, exports of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages made in the amount of 11 158.29 thousand dollars, which is 6 529.03 thousand USD, or 39.01% less than the same period in 2014.

In the first six months of this year, exports of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages made 0.18% of total exports.

The State Committee also reported that during the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including vinegar in the amount of 24 251.52 thousand dollars, which is less by 9 731.96 thousand dollars, or 28.64% than the same period of 2014.
