World Cup-2018: Singers of opening ceremony named

Baku. 11 June. REPORT.AZ/ British singer Robbie Williams and Russian opera singer Aida Garifullina will perform at the opening ceremony of the World Championship in Russia.

Report informs citing the official website of FIFA, Ronaldo, he was the double world champion with the Brazilian national team, will also attend the event.

Opening of the World Cup will take place on June 14 at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow. The ceremony will begin at 18:30 p.m. Baku time, half an hour before the first match between Russia and Saudi Arabia.

Notably, The World Cup to be held in 12 stadiums of 11 cities will end on July 15.
