'Tour d’Azerbaidjan-2017' cycling tournament kicks off in Baku

Baku. 3 May. REPORT.AZ/ "Tour d’Azerbaidjan-2017" international cycling tournament has started in Baku.

Report informs, teams were presented at the State Flag Square.

The Chairman of the Organizing Committee of "Tour d’Azerbaidjan-2017, Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation, member of the Steering Committee of the European Cycling Union, Sahib Alakbarov also attended the event. 

After presentation of 22 teams from 18 countries, the first stage of the race began. In this stage, the participants will overcome distance of 150 km on Baku-Sumgayit route. The finish will be in front of Sumgayit city Executive Power.

Notably, “Tour d’Azerbaidjan- 2017” will end on May 7.
