Saudi Arabia to pay 1,1 mln EUR to each national football team player

Baku. 6 September. REPORT.AZ/ Each football player of the Saudi Arabian national football team qualifying for the final stage of the 2018 World Cup will receive 5 mln. Riyals (1,1 mln. EUR) as a reward.

Report informs citing the Arabic.sputniknews.com website, the reward promised by Crown Prince of the country Muhammad ibn Salman al-Saud will be a record in the history of sports accomplishments.

Saudi Arabia defeated Japan on September 5 with the score of 1:0, and thus, they reached the World Cup as the holder of the second place in group B.

Notably, Saudi Arabia has become the 8^th country to participate in the World Cup.
