German squad to have new footballers in match against Azerbaijan

Baku. 6 October. REPORT.AZ/ German national team will play with renewed squad in 2018 World Cup final qualifying group match against Azerbaijan.

Report informs, head coach of the Germany national team Joachim Löw said at the press conference after defeating Northern Ireland 3:1 within IX round of the C Group.

57-year-old specialist said that on October 8, he will give a chance to players not appeared in any of the matches: "We will be upgraded somewhat. I want to see how the players fit into the squad”.

Löw called the result of his team positives due to 9 victories in 9 matches. According to him, from the first round his target was to dominate and not to compromise with anyone: “We have managed this and now we have a very good performance. For this reason, we can enjoy the qualifying round. I congratulate our team in this regard”.

To the question "After a victory over Northern Ireland, will you make a small celebration and allow your players to go to the pub?" Joachim Löw replied: "I would not want to act non-professional. We will perform in front of 30 thousand spectators in Kaiserslautern on Sunday. We want to win Azerbaijan as well. 10 victories in 10 games would be the most successful indicator of the qualifying round. Of course, we could celebrate it collectively. But we think to postpone the issue”.

Notably, the match between Germany and Azerbaijan at the Fritz Walter Stadium in Kaiserslautern starts at 22:45 Baku time.
