Czech national team coach: We have to win Azerbaijan and San Marino

Baku. 26 September. REPORT.AZ/ "We have to win the last two games. Although, we can not reach the final stage, we have a chance to reach European Championship qualify round in 2020 and to enter second basket during the draw for the League of Nations. That's why every match has a special meaning”.

Report informs, Czech national team coach Karel Jarolím said at a press conference before the 2018 World Cup qualifier match against Azerbaijan and San Marino.

61-year-old specialist said he does not care about his career yet: "I will do my best to succeed. News that I will replace Jaroslav Šilhavý is not true”.

Speaking about losses in squad, Jarolím said that Theodor Gebre Selassie could also miss the upcoming games. According to him, spouse of German "Werder" defender is in the last month of pregnancy:"There is a certain risk in this regard. We will look at the situation. If necessary, we will call another defender to replace Theodore. Besides, Tomas Kalas will miss the match with Azerbaijan because he is suspended".

Notably, Azerbaijan-Czech Republic match will be played at the Baku Olympic Stadium on October 5, at 20:00.

The opposing team will receive San Marino on October 8.
