World's most dangerous and safest countries for travel named

Baku. 22 November. REPORT.AZ/ Experts of International SOS compiled an interactive map making it possible for a traveler to evaluate the relative risk of a trip to each country of the world, Report informs citing the Russian media.

The map shows different levels of threat in the countries. It is based on the current threat of political violence taking into account terrorist activity, different riots and wars, social tension, violent crimes and minor offenses. The factors such as reliability of transport infrastructure, production, emergency services and security structures, the likelihood of natural disasters were also considered when creating the map.

Notably, the countries are divided into five categories of risk — minor, low, medium, high and extreme. The first group includes European states- Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Luxembourg, Norway, Slovenia and Switzerland.

According to the map, the risk level is low in most countries. These include the United Kingdom, as well as Jordan, Oman, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
