Tourists will flock to Nakhchivan in post-pandemic period, US Ambassador says

US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Earle Litzenberger has praised the hospitality of Nakhchivan residents, Report informs. According to the diplomat, it shows that Nakhchivan is an ideal place for hosting international tourists.

Speaking during his visit to the autonomous republic, the ambassador admired the beauty of Nakhchivan’s nature and its pure air. He said he felt comfortable there.

The ambassador especially stressed the culture and the history of Nakhchivan, which dates back to ancient times. He said people impressed him most.

Litzenberger noted that Nakhchivan has great tourism potential, saying the hospitality of its residents is really impressive.

The diplomat also admired the delicious cuisine of Nakhchivan.

Speaking about the tourism potential, he said the trio of Nakhchivan’s natural beauty, culture, and cuisine would win in any part of the world.

He added that in this regard, as soon as the world moves to the post-pandemic stage, Nakhchivan will see an immense flow of tourists. The diplomat noted that it would be a pleasure for him to tell all his friends and colleagues in the United States about Nakhchivan.
