The Polish government plans to make it easier for foreigners to find jobs in sectors where workers are most lacking, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development, Labor and Technology of Poland Jaroslaw Gowin said, Report informs.
“We are finalizing a well-thought-out migration policy document. It will include a package of tools to facilitate the employment of foreigners in industries where there is a shortage of Polish labor,” said the deputy prime minister.
“If we want to return to the path of dynamic economic development as soon as possible, we will undoubtedly need more workers,” said Gowin.
“We must import hands, and most of all, brains and minds, from countries that are culturally close to Poland,” he added.
Gowin noted that his group will propose a tax mechanism that will encourage people who are already in retirement age to continue working.
