Number of visitors from Azerbaijan to Georgia increases

The number of visitors from Azerbaijan to Georgia in September this year amounted to 8,726, the local bureau of Report says, citing the National Tourism Administration of Georgia.

According to the document, the number of visitors increased by 4,762 people, or 2.2 times a year. In January-September, the neighboring country received 57,509 visitors from Azerbaijan, which is 225,842 people, or 79.6% less than the same period last year.

In September, 226,662 international visitors, and 1,188,234 (-13.2%) in the first nine months visited Georgia.
