Number of Azerbaijanis traveling to foreign countries up by 14%

In January-November 2019, the number of Azerbaijani citizens traveling to foreign countries increased by 14.1% to reach 5,095 people, Report informs, referring to the State Statistical Committee (SSC).

According to the SSC, 36.7% of citizens traveled to Iran, 28.7% to Georgia, 17.6% to Russia, 11.5% to Turkey, 5.5% to other countries, with men making up 64% and women constituting 36%.

The number of Azerbaijani citizens traveling to Iran increased by 25.5%, to Georgia by 12.7%, to Russia by 6.2%, and to Turkey by 4.5%.
