Italy plans to resume tourist admissions suspended this summer due to a coronavirus pandemic, said Italian Ambassador to Russia Pasquale Terracciano.
Earlier, Italian ministers said they planned to allow foreign tourists into the country from June 2.
"I confirm that such a possibility is taken into account. I think this can happen in the summer. I can not promise that it will be on June 2, but, of course, the flow of tourists will be restored this summer," the ambassador noted.
