Azerbaijan to host Pomegranate Festival

Baku. 26 October. REPORT.AZ/ Goychay to host the 10th Festival of Pomegranate on November 7, 2015.

Report informs, many kinds of pomegranate grown in the various villages of the district and products made from pomegranate are brought to this festival. All these products are demonstrated in the exhibition organized in the city square.

The main purpose of Pomegranate holiday is to promote the region, presenting the cultural and economic potential and development of tourism.

The Pomegranate Festival was first held on November 3, 2006 at the joint initiative of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the executive power of Goychay region.
