City with best transportation unveiled

Baku. 8 August. REPORT.AZ/ Nice topped the rating of the best cities with convenient transport, where residents at the average spend only 22 hours in traffic jams in a year, about 40 minutes on the road to work and back and buy a travel card monthly for 1.25% of their salary, Report informs citing the RIA Novosti.

Ecuadorian city of Cuenca ranked on the second place, while Spanish Bilbao cinched on the third. French Toulouse and Italian Catania are in the fourth and fifth places, respectively.

In total, the rating includes 74 cities.

The compilers of the list took into account the average travel time by public transport, waiting time at the stop, travel distance, the number of transfers made in one trip, as well as the time spent waiting in traffic, and the cost of travel ticket, taking into account the average salary.
