​Baku included in Top-10 best places to travel in Europe in 2015

Baku. 17 June. REPORT.AZ/ Baku was included in the top ten best places to travel in Europe in 2015, Report informs, it said stated in a famous tourist service Lonely Planet.

According to the service, the best city in Europe is in Iceland Akureyri. It is followed by Leipzig (Germany), Azores (Portugal), Malaga (Spain), Belgrade (Serbia), the province of Piedmont (Italy). The capital of Azerbaijan is ranked 7th.

The information of Lonely Planet says that Baku is located between Russia and Iran on the Caspian Sea, it is one of the continent's most beautiful cities. The old Soviet buildings are replaced by modern buildings, as in Dubai. Also the article provides information about the Heydar Aliyev Center, Flame Towers and the Old City.

The top ten ranking includes Amsterdam (Netherlands), Tromso (Norway), Porto (Portugal).
