Baku among best ten cities of CIS to visit

Baku. 26 December. REPORT.AZ/ Russia’s Analytical agency TurStat has presented the rating of the best tourism cities in CIS in 2019.

Report informs citing Russian media that top ten cities include Minsk (Belarus), Baku (Azerbaijan), Astana (Kazakhstan), Yerevan (Armenia), Almaty (Kazakhstan), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), Kishinev (Moldova), Dushanbe (Tajikistan) and Ashgabat (Turkmenistan).

The rating was prepared on the basis of a number of tourist visits.

According to the information, Logoysk and Silichi of Belarus, Shahdag and Tufandag of Azerbaijan and Shymbulak (also known as Chimbulak) of Kazakhstan are more well-known among the tourists.

The travelers choose Uzbekistan and Moldova for cheap tours, Baku and Astana for shopping. The visits usually take 3-7 days. Each tourist spends $50-100 on average a day.
