Expansion of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine in the field of tourism, the importance of mutual exchange of experience, and the impact of the pandemic on tourism were discussed at the meeting between the Chairman of the State Tourism Agency Fuad Nagiyev and Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Marina Honda.
Report informs, citing Agency, that the Ukrainian delegation includes Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladislav Kanevsky, Kyiv City Council deputies Victoria Mukha and Alla Shlapak.
Noting liberation of lands, which were under Armenian occupation for about 30 years, under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief during the meeting, Nagiyev spoke about the prospects for the development of Karabakh as a new tourism destination,
According to Marina honda, Ukraine has recently paid attention to the development of gastro tourism, medical and health tourism, as well as business tourism, and in this regard, it is possible to organize joint regional tours between the two countries.
The sides also exchanged views on measures planned to restore tourism in the post-pandemic period.
