Azerbaijan to hold presentation of tourism to nearly 150 German companies

Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau will hold events in Berlin Hamburg adn Frankfurt cities of Germany on September 10-12, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau.

7 tourism companies of Azerbaijan, which operate on Germany and European markets, will participate in the events.

Azerbaijan’s tourism potential will be presented in the events, the participants will be informed about tourism routes, attractions and hotels of the country.

Nearly 150 Germany companies will join the events, in which opinions will be exchanged and discussions will be held.

In January-July 2019, 1.8 million travelers visited Azerbaijan, up 7.4% or 12,000 people from 2018.

The most increase was recorded in the number of travelers from Georgia – 76,000 people or 23%.

The number of travelers from Central and South Asia respectively grow by 39% and 44%, from Russia and Turkey – by 4%.
