Azerbaijan showcases tourism opportunities in India

Today, the international tourism exhibition OTM Mumbai 2022 began its work in the Indian city of Mumbai, where Azerbaijan is represented by a national stand, Report informs, citing the State Tourism Agency.

Along with the Azerbaijani Tourism Bureau (ABT), 10 local travel companies are participating in the exhibition.

Visitors to the exhibition are provided with extensive information about the tourism opportunities of Azerbaijan, including the territories liberated from occupation, about the possibilities of visiting Azerbaijan, about new tourism products and directions.

Bahruz Asgarov, Deputy CEO of ABT, who participated in the panel discussions at the exhibition, noted that the Indian market was one of the priorities for Azerbaijan, Indian tourists, along with leisure, prefer business tourism, wedding, and other types of tourism.
