Azerbaijan ranks 7th for tourism development in Europe

Azerbaijan has ranked 7th for tourism development among the European countries, Report informs citing the World Trade Organization (WTO).
WTO assessed the development dynamics of the tourism sector in Azerbaijan at 20%: "The city likens itself to the “new Dubai”. It’s an oil-rich, fast-growing hub at the intersection of Europe, Asia and the Middle East."
The list is headed by San-Marino. The next countries are Georgia (2nd place), Israel (3rd), Turkey (4th), Iceland (5th), Macedonia (6th), Moldova (8th), Bosnia and Herzegovina (9th) and Armenia (10th).
