Azerbaijan presents new tourism brand

Baku. 18 October. REPORT.AZ/ A new national tourism brand "Take another look" has been presented at the National Tourism Summit organized by the State Tourism Agency and the Azerbaijani Tourism Bureau in Baku today.

Report informs that the new brand has been presented by brand and marketing director of the Bureau Fidan Aliyeva.

She spoke about the creation of the brand: "We need to have a strong brand to achieve our goal. We should popularize the beauty of Azerbaijan. We have wonderful cuisine, hospitable people. We took into account all these factors while developing a new brand. Azerbaijan is a country of new discoveries. This logo will contribute to promotion of Azerbaijan around the world.".

According to Aliyeva, the presentation of the new tourism brand before the world community will take place at the World Travel Market Exhibition (London WTM) to be held in London (UK) this November.

Fuad Naghiyev, chairman of the State Tourism Agency said that a new stage begins in the promotion of Azerbaijan's tourism potential: "Your vision of this sphere will change significantly with Azerbaijan's new tourism brand. Of course, we are closely acquainted with existing problems and we are working hard to solve these problems. The creation of new infrastructure and the formation of new tourism products include these works. The development of tourism education and training of qualified personnel are also important issues for us. We are planning the application of modern technologies in tourism to have more comprehensive approach in this field. Our next goal is to present our country with new brand in foreign markets. We are planning to open a representative office in several countries. "
